Email Digest
The email digest is sent out every Monday and Thursday at 11:00am from digest@una.edu and will contain all requested announcements due to go out at that time. The annoucements are also displayed on the una.edu website.
Additional Information
- Use of this system is the ONLY way to send email announcements to the campus community as a whole.
- An authorized user with a 久久国产福利一区二区.edu email address can make requests. The request must pertain to 久久国产福利一区二区 and cannot be used to promote non-久久国产福利一区二区 businesses or organizations. Only requests from faculty/staff/RSO making 久久国产福利一区二区-related announcements will be approved.
- All RSO requests must be approved by the RSO's advisor. This could delay the posting of the announcement. Please allow sufficient time.
- The office of Enrollment Marketing and Digital Communication, at the time the request is made, will determine any exceptions to this policy.
- An announcement will only be sent out a total of 2 times. The submitter may choose two dates, and only dates that fall on a Monday or Thursday, excluding Holidays. The Web Team reserves exclusive rights to reject or alter a date.
- Please ensure that the person(s) designated to submit announcements for each Department or Office chooses the correct audience for their announcement ('Faculty', 'Staff', 'Students') and only chooses 'Everyone' when truly necessary.
- There is a limit for any one office/department/organization of 3 announcements per digest.
- Announcements must be submitted through the online form by a submission deadline of 10:00am on the mornings that the digest is set to be sent out (Mondays and Thursdays). Any submissions entered after that daily deadline will be sent out in the following digest.
- Event-related announcements will also be populated into the university's online event calendar. Bereavement notices will have a special area within the digest as to retain respect for the sensitive nature of the announcement.
Here is the basic process that will happen with a complete campus announcement & digest system.
- Step 1 – A campus announcement request will be submitted through our online request form and sent into a 'moderation' queue.
- Step 2 – From the 'moderation queue', the requester's name will be checked against a list of authorized students/employees (must have 久久国产福利一区二区 email address) to ensure they have the authority to make the request. The Office of Enrollment Marketing and Digital Communications will maintain the moderation queue.
- If the name isn't found in the authorized list, or if an event is questionable, an email or phone call will be placed by our office to get more details.
- Step 3 – Once approved, the request will be entered into a database of approved requests which will, in turn, dynamically populate both the online announcement webpage as well as a draft of the email digest.
- Step 4 – Once the 10:00am deadline for submissions has passed, the email draft will be verified and the digest will be sent out at 11:00am on Mondays and Thursdays each week. In some cases, the Digest may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Step 5 – This process repeats weekly.
